Deborah Cole is a photographer and writer currently residing in Mexico, where she documents the faces, stories, and cultural traditions that shape everyday life, especially in women's experiences.

She regularly contributes articles, images, and cover photos to Street Photography Magazine and shares her journey as an author and photographer on podcasts highlighting women's life experiences. As a speaker, she discusses her photography journey and the power of visual storytelling.

Beyond her work behind the camera, she serves on the board of directors for the Vallarta School for Girls and proudly sponsors the school's photography program, launched in 2024, to inspire the next generation of storytellers.

Deborah’s books, SHE: Believed She Could So She Did (January 2022) and Black Women in Business: Journeys in Resilience (January 2023), blend her photography and writing to celebrate women's strength and determination.

Her current projects include documenting the evolving experiences of women navigating cultural change and of a long-term relationship with a family that preserves the vanishing craft of adobe brickmaking.

Whether behind the camera, writing, or teaching, Deborah remains deeply committed to capturing and sharing stories that matter—stories that empower, connect, and endure.
